About the Company

This electricity distribution network operator is preparing its network for significant changes in how electricity is generated, transported and consumed.

Within its Future Energy Planning function, the Network Planning team uses engineering analysis and power system modelling to identify emerging network requirements and support future investment decisions.

Requirements

• Power systems engineering background with relevant electricity network experience
• Exposure to network planning, power system studies or electrical network analysis
• Experience with or working knowledge of PowerFactory, PSS/E, PSCAD or comparable simulation software
• Sound understanding of electrical power systems and distribution or transmission networks
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly
