Its Future Energy Planning function assesses how the network needs to evolve, with the Network Planning team providing the engineering analysis required to support reliable, safe and efficient future investment decisions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated power systems engineering and electricity network planning experience
- Practical capability with simulation tools such as PowerFactory, PSS/E or PSCAD
- Experience completing power system studies and translating results into engineering recommendations
- Understanding of distribution or transmission network performance, constraints and planning
- Ability to independently deliver technical work while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders
